Chris,
Would it be possible for you to take one detailed photo of the finished piece and post it in the documents area or the Gallery. That way we have it to study.
Thanks for all that you are doing. It is so great.
Richard, here no problem watching the video blog smoothly, perhaps try it at a different time of the day,
If I find some puzzle part that are not mine, I will put them on the forum, so those who misses some can pick them up. Otherwise we always can ask Chris :-)
Thanks Chris, I agree with Arnaud, totally, "I got the feeling all my puzzle pieces about engraving are falling into place,", did you find any of mine Arnaud?, I think I lost some, LOL!, I had a bit of trouble seen this video, is very staggered, is it just me?
Richard.
Thank you Chris for this chapter video blogs on the folded leaves. It makes a lot of sense to me, and my resume the way I can store it in my brain, is that no matter what, always follow the same curve to the vanishing point, even when there is a highlight like a fold.
If not explained the way you did, one may think the shading next to the fold is done with a curved line that follows the fold, but you showed it clearly, at least to me, that the shading lines just follow the leave vanishing point.
So now I was thinking how these folds would look on the backside, probably the highlight then would be black with some minor highlights next to the fold.
Anyway, I got the feeling all my puzzle pieces about engraving are falling into place,
