The RinGenie

The RinGenie is fixture designed to hold rings while doing engraving and stone setting.

It's design allows  you to work on a ring without having to constantly reposition your work piece.

 

It's comprised of an aircraft aluminium body that has been Hard coat anodized. The rotating mandrel is made from solid 304 stainless steel. It comes complete with a set of 16 aluminum col lets ranging is sizes from 5 to 12.5 in half size increments. It also comes with 8 Nylon collets in sizes 5 to 12 in one size increments.Both collet types are tapered from each side to give even expansion and good holding power. the aluminum collets help to reduce vibration significantly.  

It also has a very accurate layout system that utilises click stops allowing you to quickly and accurately do layout for your engraving and stone setting.

 

the design also allows you to access the click stop mechanisms with out having to use an external wrench or key.

 

The time savings alone will make the tool pay for itself  with only a few jobs.

The layout system also allows for drilling and milling operations using your flex shaft or micro motor, through the use of a drill bushing that quickly installs replacing the spring loaded plunger assembly used for layout.

 

The package includes a quality box that has fitted compartments for all the pieces. The collet section is removable so that you can have you collets orginized while using them. the collet tray is marked by laser indicating each size for the appropriate collet.

 

 

The RinGenie is manufactured by SDL precision. It's completely made in the USA.
